The BMW M6 is definitely one of the most impressive models in the line-up of BMW’s sports cars. But, the power hungry speedsters are longing for more, and as such several bmw m6 proto concepts have been unleashed by the company as futuristic models.

The M6 Supersprint proto type was rumoured to be launched and several videos were seen on YouTube and other popular sites, but nothing was officially confirmed by the company.
Features
The GTR prototype, which was seen in M3 series, was also rumoured to be marketed in the M6 line-up, though it still remains a mystery as well. The M5 and M6 usually come with turbo-chargers, but companies like CMC have also greatly enhanced its capabilities by installing twin turbo chargers, increasing its power to as high as 800-820hp.
The exclusive M6 prototypes have been showcased for as high as $350,000 and some have been even produced as single units on special demand.
Future Upgrades
Although BMW hasn’t officially announced anything yet, the folks are expecting a major redesign in the 2010 M6 and loads of upgrades, apart from just a simple facelift.
Several BMW M6 prototypes have been observed lapping on anonymous test circuits, but no information has been publicly uncovered about them. So, looks like BMW has something big coming up. Till then let us wait and watch the show!
